My Maternal Klan Family After My Grandfather’s Sudden Death

My mother, Phyliss Colescott to the left, the author as a young “Jimmy”, my grandmother, Mrs. Helen C. Colescott and my grandfather’s dog Duke at Lake Burton, Georgia a favorite of the old Klan leadership.  Taken in the late summer of 1951 just after our completion of my grandfather’s last orders to my mother also a Klansman since the age of 14 yrs.  The Lost Legacy begins to unfold.
